The situation

Our client was an SME technology business that had recently been acquired by private equity investors. A new leadership team was put together to deliver the growth target and a commercially focussed CFO was needed as a crucial part of the board.

 


Our approach

We carried out a full market research and branded advertising campaign which generated an extensive long-list of candidates. Pre-screening meetings were held with each following which we provided the CEO with a ‘test candidate’ to meet. (Doing this early in the process ensured accuracy was maintained throughout.) A final shortlist of five was presented with detailed assessment of each applicant’s skills, experience and motivations.
