Awarded CCS Framework status with 180 NHS roles


Background

Ignata was awarded membership to the Crown Commercial Services Framework in order to supply agency staff to the public sector. From this, our Nottingham office created a new account team dedicated to the supply of administrative services to the NHS.

Challenges

We needed to come up with a different solution and structure based on NHS needs and requirements. To do this we built a database of specialist candidates with NHS experience, ensuring we had access to a pool of readily available temporary candidates, fully vetted to NHS’s compliance standards including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and 3 years' references.

In addition to this, we needed to develop our knowledge of the NHS, Trusts and an understanding of their requirements in order to become a trusted advisor.

  • Created a dedicated team to support 180 roles
  • Introduced weekly onsite clinics for both line managers and temporary workers
  • Ran quarterly charity events
  • Created an awards system incl. ‘Temp of the Month’ to promote inclusion and loyalty
  • Created innovative methods to attract candidates in order to build our pool of candidates to support the NHS’s requirements including seasonal competitions and prizes
